Merge art, design, and science

At SCAD's state-of-the-art equestrian center, students fuse their passion for equestrian studies with next-level science and tech, design principles, and artistic talent to prepare for a vast array of career options in the equine world. SCAD grad Giana Terranova (B.A., equestrian studies, 2016) combined her lifelong love of horses with a passion for photography to launch her creative career as an equine photographer. Terranova, who travels the U.S. photographing events, horses, and riders, was named in the The Plaid Horse's 30 Under 30 list less than a year after starting her business.

"SCAD was my dream school. Combining the arts and horses was the only thing I was ever looking for. No other university has a program like it. SCAD is paving the way in equestrian studies."
