You're SCADbound!
You made it! Congratulations and welcome to the SCAD family. Your SCADbound journey starts now. From now until your first day of class, we've tailored a unique experience just for you, where each step is designed to prepare you for life as a SCAD Bee and connect you with valuable resources. If at any point you have questions, do not hesitate to reach out to your admission adviser.
1Online orientation
Every new student is required to complete the online orientation before arriving for their first day of class. You’ll access it using your MySCAD login so you can track your progress on the platform. You’ll find information on everything you need to start your SCAD journey off strong: academics and student success, technology support, student life, university safety, community standards, and so much more. Families may access the online orientation platform with the guest login.
To access your Welcome Week schedule, you must complete the online orientation.
International students
International students have additional required and optional sessions and activities to maintain immigration compliance, acclimate to live in the U.S., and excel academically.
SCADnow students
SCADnow students have an additional required orientation workshop to help maximize success within the online learning environment. Register for a workshop and view upcoming dates
2Orientation summer programs
Students from around the world get a head start on their SCAD journey with programs tailored to their interests.
