Celebrating the SCAD Class of 2024!
SCAD students, alumni, faculty, and staff are delighted to honor the newest class of graduates at SCAD Commencement 2024. All graduating SCAD Savannah and SCADnow students are invited to participate in the Presidential Conferment and Presentation of Degrees ceremonies for their academic school on Saturday, June 1. The ceremonies for all graduating SCAD Atlanta students will be on Sunday, June 2. All ceremonies will stream live on YouTube.
Savannah ceremonies
Saturday, June 1
8:30 a.m. | Presidential Conferment of Degrees
During this ceremony, all graduates and their guests will hear from commencement speakers as well as SCAD President and Founder Paula Wallace as she confers degrees.
Noon | Presentation of Degrees
Presentation of Degrees ceremonies: School of Animation and Motion, School of Building Arts, School of Creative Technology, School of Fine Arts, School of Liberal Arts, School of Fashion
5 p.m. | Presentation of Degrees

SCADnow graduates
SCADnow online learning graduates are invited to participate in the Presentation of Degrees ceremony in Savannah. All other students are invited to participate in the on-ground Presentation of Degrees ceremonies as assigned by the SCAD location at which they are enrolled. If you have any questions, contact graduation@scad.edu for more information.
Preparing to graduate
All SCAD students must apply for graduation two quarters prior to the quarter in which they expect to graduate, even if they do not plan to participate in the commencement ceremony.
Students are eligible to participate in the commencement ceremony if they submit their application to graduate on time and complete all degree requirements by the end of the final quarter leading to graduation. Check back for graduation application deadlines.
