Why GRADpath@SCAD?
GRADpath students enter the professional field with superlative qualifications upon graduation. With an accelerated timeline for earning a graduate degree, GRADpath provides students a cost savings by overlapping undergraduate and graduate course work.
With more than 36 graduate degrees in Atlanta, Savannah, and online through SCADnow, students can pursue a path that aligns to their unique skills and aspirations. For example:
An animation student can complement a bachelor's degree with graduate-level expertise in themed entertainment design.
A fashion student can pursue a career in corporate social responsibility with a terminal degree in design for sustainability.
An aspiring filmmaker can work toward a film and television B.F.A. followed by an M.A. in cinematography or editing.
Students may also elect to build on their undergraduate studies and deepen their discipline knowledge with a graduate degree in the same area of study.
Elevate your creative education
GRADpath students maximize all SCAD has to offer, unlocking new skills and a world of professional experience — all within less time than the average student. For SCAD alum Morgan Leigh Eng (M.F.A., sequential art, 2024; B.F.A., animation, 2022), a career in the arts was an early and resounding "yes!" At SCAD, she found the perfect path forward. Eng earned her undergraduate and graduate degrees in just five years.
