Expert instruction on your schedule

The same dedicated full-time SCAD professors who teach at on-ground locations lead the majority of SCADnow online courses. These accomplished professors at the top of their fields are complemented by stellar adjunct faculty as appropriate; no courses are taught by graduate assistants or interns.

“I'm so grateful to SCAD and all of my professors. After refining my portfolio with projects inspired by coursework, I received an offer for an associate art director position.”

Sarah Godfrey | B.A., visual communication, 2013, Westminster, Colorado

Access to renowned educators

The extraordinary faculty at SCAD are accomplished professionals who have refined their abilities at elite companies including CBS, DC Comics, DreamWorks, L’Oréal, Marvel, NASA, The New Yorker, Versace, and Warner Bros. The same professors teaching on-ground courses also teach SCADnow online courses. Many of these educators continue to publish, exhibit, design, and consult, sharing their expertise and connections to help students grow creatively and professionally.

She teaches a variety of courses via SCADnow, including Directing the Documentary, Editing Theory and Techniques, and Motion Graphics. Elliott’s creative teaching practices combine time-specific assignments and videoconferences with projects students can do on their own time.

"Through SCADnow, I have had the privilege of teaching professors at other institutions, art directors, and business owners in the motion design industry, all seeking to improve their skills and reach their creative and professional goals."
