Tips for a successful internship
- Use informational interviews to find the right fit.
- Work with your supervisor to outline responsibilities, expected duties, and long-term project plans.
- Keep a record of the projects you have worked on.
- Seek out mentors at the organization where you are interning.
- Stay in touch with the people you meet during your internship.
- Ask your supervisor to serve as a reference when your internship is complete.
