While at SCAD, Stacie McGowan Cox declared that she felt like she belonged and was home with her people. SCAD was a transformative experience that gave her confidence in her creativity and the skills needed for a career. Stacie's closest friends came together in her honor to create "Drawing on Hope: The Stacie McGowan Cox Endowed Memorial Scholarship," benefiting SCAD students with a focus on those facing medical hardships. Her friends and family are excited to support students pursuing art careers in Stacie's memory.
