Kamryn Shawron exhibition: 'Stuck!'

A collection of designed stickers exploring texture, depth, and themes of self-worth, Stuck! is an exhibition of action. Marking Kamryn Shawron’s (B.F.A., fibers, 2016) return to creative practice after a drought of motivation, this series highlights the joy of making separate from the output. Each embellished sticker — plastering the walls with relatable, humorous depictions — represents the glorious indulgence of excess, thoughtfully stacked and stitched atop one another to create dense, tactile terrain. Underneath their humor is a deeper sentiment: assign value to yourself generously and deliberately.
