  Managed a fast-growing film and television academic department. Developed and implemented a "story-centered" approach to project development. Liaised with industry veterans through the newly formed SCADFILM project, a university/industry collaboration initiative. Regularly taught screenwriting for film and television.

  Managed and developed story-centered filmmaking curriculum. Coordinated and lectured in advanced screenwriting and directing courses. Managed a department of staff and attended marketing events Australia-wide.

• Senior Teaching Fellow, screenwriting and directing, January 2004–April 2010, Bond University, Gold Coast, QLD
  Coordinated and lectured in screenwriting and directing courses. Developed advanced post-graduate screenwriting curriculum. Engaged in extensive marketing and research efforts internationally.

Professional

• Producer/Partner, 2008–present, Dogtag Entertainment, Brisbane, QLD
  Wrote and developed feature screenplays, television scripts and concepts, TV pilots, TV commercials, and other media. Produced television and corporate content. Secured contracts and funding for feature and television projects with high-profile Hollywood and Australian producers. Also engaged in pitching and marketing efforts at numerous international markets and conferences.

• Senior Director, July 2012–November 2012/July 2013–November 2013, Southern Star/Big Brother TV Series
  Worked as full-time control room director for the duration of the 2012 and 2013 seasons. Directed daily shows, live shows, and special events. Liaised with producers to develop storylines and events.

• Freelance Writer/Director/Producer, January 1999–December 2007
  Wrote, directed, and/or produced numerous award-winning short films, documentaries, and TV pilots, including 'The Road to Gulu,' filmed in Uganda. I also have experience as a professional camera operator (Big Brother), A.D. (Peter Pan), and editor (TV pilots, shorts).
