Led SCAD's Collaborative Learning Center (CLC) experience working with Gulfstream Aerospace to create a pilot-friendly synoptic interface redesign; with Uber Elevate to design a modular terminal or Skyport that functions as a brief waiting area to help riders navigate to and from their vehicles; the interior experience of the Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL); with Ford Motor Company to research and develop multiple digital assistant-use case concepts for driven and driverless vehicles, including owned, shared, and commercial vehicles, plus mobility services; and with Google Maps to reimagine its Android app experience for a young and global audience.

    Set up a new core competent track for User Experience Design at SADI. This unique track is formed based on practical and experience-centric programs that allow students to have hands-on skills of user experience with expert designers at Samsung Electronics. Also taught User Experience Design, Information Architecture, Design Research, Human Factors, and Service Design for students of communication design department and product design department.
  • Senior Director, October 2011–February 2014, Samsung Mobile UX Innovation Lab, San Francisco
    Managed over 100 designers in the Advance Mobile UX Design Group, which generated mobile UX concepts for the next-generation flagship models, including Galaxy S-series, Galaxy Note-series, and Galaxy Tab-series. Had responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the division concerning advanced mobile UX design; establishing and modifying policies and practices for the group; planning, directing, and coordinating subordinates; and delegating assignments.
  • Director, March 2009–July 2010, Samsung Smartphone UX Design Group, Seoul, Korea
    As first Samsung smartphone UX design group head, set up and grew the team that designed the phones during the period of Samsung becoming the No. 1 market share smartphone manufacturer in the world. Responsible for developing meaningful UX design concepts for smartphones. Managed various UX design projects on new interaction solutions for mobile devices, connected devices, tablet UX, MP3 players, and digital cameras. Also managed the UX team for Samsung feature phones for global market.
