Fibers coordinator and visiting professor, 2010–11, University of Oregon, Eugene, OR
Taught undergraduate and graduate level courses in fibers including Woven Structures Workshop using digital jacquard, multi-harness looms, and off-loom techniques; Issues and Practices, a graduate-level research method development course on critical issues; and Textile Printing, a study on themes of repetition using silk screen, digital and analogue repeat network construction. Developed Methods: Collaboration, an interdisciplinary graduate course exploring contemporary collaborative art practices. Contributed to art department committees, advised students on academic resources and course study, and scheduled a visiting artist.

Taught six courses per year in fiber and material studies and VAT including Intro to Fiber, Repeat Pattern Design, Pattern Making & Fabrication, Weaving, Advanced Fiber Seminar: Topics in Contemporary Art Culture, Image and Form II Reproducibility, and Freshman Environmental Elective: Collaboration. Co-developer Custom Micro-Computing: Smart Objects, Electric Handicrafts, and Responsive Environments. Aided restructuring core VAT curriculum, coordinated fiber visiting artists, developed interdepartmental and community projects.

Independent art and design professional working with clients in the home goods, accessory, and fashion sectors. Experience working with domestic and overseas manufacturing in the production of jacquard, dobby, block-printed, hand-painted, and screen-printed designs. Created factory-ready drawings including specs for repeat-pattern engineering, color separations, technical print, and woven structures. Expert knowledge of computer software for the design of textiles and graphics including Photoshop, Illustrator, Point Carré, and JaqCAD.
