Graham Scott

The 17,000-square-foot Graham Scott building houses state-of-the-art classrooms for the SCAD photography program. Opened in fall quarter 2023, the building is dedicated in recognition of long-standing SCAD staff members James Graham and Trá Scott. Combined, Graham and Scott have a nearly 70-year history of distinguished stewardship of the university's student-centered mission. Their contributions have supported life-changing experiences for countless SCAD students from around the world. The Graham Scott embodies their enduring legacy of inspiring positivity, expertise, and care. Constructed in 1958, the warehouse-style building was previously a nightclub and distillery before SCAD acquired it in the spring of 2023.
