Maryse Gaspard

Maryse Gaspard

Maryse Gaspard is the artistic director of haute couture and longtime brand ambassador for Pierre Cardin. Often referred to as Cardin's muse, Gaspard has worked with the designer for more than 50 years, first meeting Cardin in the 1960s and modeling for him throughout the 1970s before joining him as the leading envoy of his brand. In 1979, Gaspard famously danced on the Great Wall of China wearing Cardin couture during the designer's groundbreaking but little-known fashion show, a year after Cardin became one of the first Western designers to enter the Chinese market. Gaspard's total commitment to the Pierre Cardin brand has ensured the designer's enduring legacy.
