Emma Chadwick
Born and raised in London, Emma Chadwick fell in love with dance at a very young age. Devoting her studies to the art of movement, she went on to gain a first-class honors degree in dance and performance. Accepted into the prestigious Ballet Basel directly out of school, Chadwick worked closely with some of the world's leading ballet and modern dance choreographers, which shaped the creative she is today. Drawn to working freelance, she discovered a niche role in movement direction where she could enhance the physicality of fashion and advertising briefs by helping talent push their physical boundaries and guide them to fulfill their utmost potential. Whether on still photography sets, large-scale film productions, or fashion shows, Chadwick's approach originates from the inside out — understanding the talent and what makes them move and then aligning those intricacies with the designer's vision. She has choreographed fashion shows for brands and designers including Yves Saint Laurent, Gucci, Marc Jacobs, Givenchy, Ralph Lauren, Proenza Schouler, Coach, Gabriela Hearst, Khaite, and Priscavera, among others. Her advertising clients include Yves Saint Laurent, Louis Vuitton, Loro Piana, Cartier, Missoni, MAC Cosmetics, Omega, Jimmy Choo, Carolina Herrera, Glossier, and Shiseido. Her work has been published in American Vogue, V Magazine, and T: The New York Times Style Magazine.
