SCAD Summer Seminars travel and transportation

Travel

Participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from SCAD Summer Seminars. A complimentary shuttle service is available in Savannah and Atlanta, providing transportation to and from the Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport and SCAD Savannah, or the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and SCAD Atlanta. Shuttle service is offered on check-in and checkout days at specific times. Transportation is not provided between SCAD locations.

Arrival and departure

Arrival and departure information will be emailed to registered participants prior to the start of the summer.

International participants can request to arrive one (1) day before the designated check-in day by emailing the Pre-College Programs team at atlsummer@scad.edu (Atlanta) or savsummer@scad.edu (Savannah).

Requests must be made at least three (3) weeks prior to the start of their registered session.

Automobiles and transportation

Transportation to and from workshops and activities is provided. In Atlanta and Savannah, SCAD Summer Seminars participants are permitted to bring cars, but these must be parked in a SCAD parking lot for the duration of the program. Participants are not permitted to drive cars during Summer Seminars.

Commuting participants driving themselves to SCAD Atlanta or SCAD Savannah may park their cars in a university parking lot and then ride the SCAD bus to their workshops. Participants are not allowed to drive to classes or other program activities.
