Summer seminars student conduct
As members of the SCAD community, SCAD Summer Seminars participants are expected to behave in ways that are respectful of all other community members. This includes abiding by the policies outlined in the Code of Student Conduct and helping maintain an environment for participants, faculty, and staff that is free of sex-based discrimination and sexual harassment, including sexual misconduct. Furthermore, SCAD maintains a dry campus free of alcohol, has zero tolerance for the possession or use of drugs, and prohibits the possession of real or replica weapons. Smoking any substance is prohibited at SCAD Summer Seminars and in all SCAD buildings. Participants are not allowed to drive or ride in cars with other participants during the program, including unauthorized usage of rideshare programs.
At the discretion of the university, any participant in violation of policies or otherwise creating an unsafe or unproductive climate is dismissed from the program and may jeopardize future admission to the university.
