Rising Star travel

Wait to make travel arrangements until written confirmation of your acceptance has been received. Accepted students are responsible for their own transportation to and from Atlanta or Savannah. Both SCAD Savannah and SCAD Atlanta are easily accessible by train, bus, car, and airplane.

Rising Star students are offered a complimentary SCAD shuttle service to and from SCAD Atlanta and Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and to and from SCAD Savannah and Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport. This service is offered at specific times on arrival and departure days. Interested students may sign up after acceptance.

Arrival and departure

Students arrive and check in at the residence hall in Savannah and Atlanta on June 29, 2025.

All students must vacate assigned rooms by the prescribed time on the last day of the program (July 26, 2025). Checkout times will vary based on campus location. Program participants who fail to follow proper check-in/checkout procedures may be subject to additional fees.
