- Only checks from a U.S. domestic bank (including most credit unions) may be used. Be sure to enter the accurate routing/transit and account numbers from your check. If you enter incorrect values, or if you attempt to use a check that is not from a regular U.S. domestic bank checking account, your electronic check will be returned.
- Do not use any check marked "Do Not Use for ACH." You cannot enter your debit or credit card number as an electronic check.

Automated drafts in U.S. dollars from a credit or debit card or bank account may be made through TouchNet, accessible in MySCAD. Each quarter, the payment plan automatically drafts multiple installments of the balance due for tuition, housing, and meal plan. A convenience fee of 2.95% (4.25% for international transactions) or US$3, whichever is greater, is applied to credit and debit card transactions. Students must enroll quarterly in the payment plan via TouchNet and pay a 3% enrollment fee to participate.
To enroll in the Payment Plan, please follow these instructions:

- Accept the payment plan agreement and payment agreement.
- Once enrolled, you will receive email confirmation of enrollment in the plan, payment of the enrollment fee and payment of the first installment. Email reminders of automatic drafts are distributed prior to each scheduled due date of the quarterly plan.
International payment options
-
SCAD offers Flywire, PayMyTuition, and TransferMate as options for international payment of university charges. Each of these services offers competitive foreign exchange rates, allows you to pay in your home currency (in many cases) and saves money compared to traditional bank wires. For most countries, multiple payment options are available, including international credit cards and bank transfers. In addition, payment processing to your SCAD student account will be faster, you will be able to track where your payment is in the transfer process and you can be notified via email when the funds are applied to your SCAD student account.
Contact these partners directly for further information about the services they provide and their rate guarantees. Instructions and contact information are available on their websites.
- Flywire
- PayMyTuition
- TransferMate is integrated into the SCAD TouchNet student account system, and can be accessed by selecting "make a payment" and choosing TransferMate from the dropdown menu.
Note: Although SCAD accepts traditional wires in U.S. dollars, utilizing one of these transfer partners will often save on the currency exchange rate and bank fees, among other benefits detailed above.
Wire payments
-
You may directly transfer funds in U.S. dollars to SCAD's bank by wire transfer. The originating bank must indicate the student's name and SCAD ID number on the transfer; the originating party is responsible for all transfer fees. Allow five to seven business days for SCAD to receive notice of the transfer.
