Savannah College of Art and Design presents: Holiday spectacular with the SCAD Bee Sharps

New annual concert spreads double the cheer in Georgia Friday, Dec. 8 at SCADshow in Atlanta and Thursday, Dec. 14 at Lucas Theatre for the Arts in Savannah
SAVANNAH AND ATLANTA, GEORGIA — The Savannah College of Art and Design invites you to join the SCAD Bee Sharps, the university's elite performance ensemble, for an evening of carols and good cheer at the all-new Holiday Spectacular concert. The Bee Sharps will be joined by special guest stars and alumni, including American Idol winner Candice Glover (B.F.A., dramatic writing, 2022) and Showtime at the Apollo winner George Lovett (B.F.A., performing arts, 2011), as SCAD celebrates the holiday season. Guests will step into a winter wonderland to enjoy holiday favorites at this festive new tradition directed by Tony Award-nominated producer, actor, and SCAD artistic director of executive ensembles Mike Evariste.
Guests can sing along to classic carols and holiday songs, including "Silent Night," "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "Joy to the World," and Nat King Cole's iconic "The Christmas Song." Contemporary favorites like Mariah Carey's hit song "All I Want For Christmas Is You" will have audience members singing and dancing themselves.
The holiday fun kicks off in Atlanta at the new SCADshow theater at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, followed by a second performance at the historic Lucas Theatre for the Arts in Savannah at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 14. Tickets for both shows are $15 for SCAD Card holders, students, seniors, alumni, and the military, or $25 for the general public.
