Sarah Gavron at Savannah Film Festival

Inspired by the rise of women directing feature films, the story of equal voting rights in “Suffragette” was a natural choice for filmmaker Sarah Gavron. Holding to two tenets – remain true to yourself and work with people who share your vision – guided the process of completing the film.
