'The Piano Lesson' cast and crew on film adaptation

SCAD Savannah Film Festival Ensemble Award honorees Malcolm Washington, John David Washington, and Danielle Deadwyler describe the impact of adapting revered source materials and continuing noted playwright August Wilson’s legacy with their film. Directed by Malcolm Washington and starring John David Washington and Deadwyler, The Piano Lesson is adapted from Wilson’s Pulitzer Prize-winning 1987 play of the same name.
