SCAD GamingFest 2021 Spotlight Award Presentation: Wil Wheaton

SCAD GamingFest 2021 presented the Spotlight Award to actor, author, and host Wil Wheaton. As a teen actor, he first broke out playing Gordie Lachance in Rob Reiner's Stand by Me, following that with his role as Wesley Crusher on Star Trek: The Next Generation. Wheaton has appeared in dozens of films and TV series, including playing a fictionalized version of himself on CBS's top-rated The Big Bang Theory. Wheaton is also the creator, producer, and host of the web series Tabletop, an accomplished voice actor and audiobook narrator, and the author of six novels. He will host the forthcoming reality competition series GameMaster for Amazon Prime, scheduled to begin production in Atlanta in 2021.
