Todd Haynes on 'May December' | On Creativity

At the 2023 SCAD Savannah Film Festival, Todd Haynes received the Outstanding Achievement in Directing Award for his latest triumph, May December, starring Julianne Moore and Natalie Portman. During its Savannah and Tybee Island shoot, 88 SCAD students, faculty, and alumni worked on the production in front of and behind the camera. In today’s interview, Paula Wallace reflects with Haynes on the experience of the production, how this film fits into his legendary career, and his philosophy as a leader onset.
