Company C
The SCAD-produced documentary Company C tells the singular story of artist, designer, performer, and SCAD alumnus Andrew Ondrejcak (B.F.A., performing arts, 2002). Ondrejcak’s experience runs the gamut, from art directing set design for fashion photo shoots, to lecturing at art institutions such as MoMA, to writing off-off-Broadway avant-garde performances and more. The film opens with scenes from his original pop opera YOU US WE ALL, which made its U.S. debut at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, as we hear from the insiders who have seen Ondrejcak’s creative genius firsthand, including professors and colleagues.
Executive produced by SCAD President and Founder Paula Wallace and presented by SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion + Film, Company C is directed by Dane Sponberg (M.A., digital photography, 2011; B.F.A., photography, 2006) and Ben Dashwood (M.F.A., photography, 2011; B.F.A., photography, 2002) of Raftermen Photography. A collaboration among more than 15 SCAD alumni and faculty, the film presents one of many unique channels through which SCAD champions their work and careers.
