John Ridley is the Academy Award®-winning screenwriter of "12 Years a Slave." His filmmaking career stretches across platforms, not only writing for film, but also writing, producing and directing for several television series. Ridley wrote, produced and directed his first credited documentary, "Let it Fall: Los Angeles 1982-1992."
